Blogless Tonight

I’m not in the mood to keep a blog lately. I’m sure I’ll get back to it eventually.

Whoops

Whoops, wrecked died.
No more services dbs so everyone will have to redo everything.
No more IRPG so we’ll have to start over if anyone cares.
Let me know.

Cocks 'R' Us
[ rakaur on Sun Jan 02 at 04:21 PM // category: software, technology ]
One of the fuckwads from nenolod’s part of my IRC network found an exploit in a bot I had running. Being one of the many fucking morons from that channel, instead of telling me about it he decided to execute rm -rf / immediately.
He managed to remove everything belonging to the “irc” user, along with some things that happened to be 777. Also, the backup drive was mounted and the permissions were set liberally and permissions are preserved in the backup process, so he successfully removed all the backups too. This has since been corrected. Unfortunately, many things were irreversibly lost, such as Steve’s blog.
Unclefucking cockbuckets.

Same Shit, Different Year
[ rakaur on Sat Jan 01 at 04:03 PM // category: technology ]
I guess I’ll actually try to update this.
I haven’t been doing much lately other than trying to forget any part I actually have in the real world. I got a 200GB hard drive for Christmas and I’ve been downloading TV shows. My time’s been pretty much spent exclusively watching Voyager.
I’m a dork, I know.
